Linda Johnson, MLA Calgary-Glenmore:
I have had the pleasure of working with Jim for a number of years, both as a MLA and in my previous role as the PC Party’s southern Alberta field director. He is a man of integrity and has a clear understanding of what it will take for our party to remain successful into the future. Jim has my support.

Evan Legate, PCYA President:
Jim McCormick is definitely the man for the job! For just under two years I have had the privilege of sitting on the PCAA executive, where Jim has been one of the most vocal supporters of the PCYA, as well as one of the hardest working members of the PCAA Executive. Jim understands the importance of youth, and under his guidance of the PCAA, I am positive the PCYA can continue its positive growth.

Eric Dalke, PC Party member, Calgary-Varsity:
Jim McCormick has the experience and the passion to continue to build the PCAA in all parts of the province. With his thoughtful and focused approach, he will make sure the organization is responsive to its members and ready for success in the next election.

Josh Traptow, President, Calgary-Bow PC Association:
I first met Jim before the 2008 election, since then we have worked on many projects and campaigns together.  When I first became President of the Calgary-Bow PC Association in April 2011 I was faced with a contested nomination, Jim was there the entire way to provide advice and guidance.  Jim has held countless volunteer positions within our party and knows that it is volunteers that are the backbone of our party.  This is why Jim has my support to be President of the PCAA.

Garett Cupples, Former PCAA Central Alberta VP, PC member from Red Deer:
I’ve known Jim quite a few years and had the privilege of working with him on the PC Executive. He is a very well rounded person that has impressed me since I first met him. Jim has no problem “working in the trenches” in a small group with a supporting role and he’s equally comfortable with a larger, more public role. Sometimes in politics, egos can be enormous, yet Jim is very grounded, comfortable in any setting, and can work with anyone and everyone. Jim McCormick will be a President that will work right alongside us and when called for will lead us through the next few very important years!

Courtney Luimes, Former PCYA President, campaign manager for Edmonton-Gold Bar:
I'm proud to support Jim McCormick for PC Party President. Jim gets things done and our Party needs him. During my time in youth politics Jim helped us build and grow the U of C Campus Conservative Association and then the PCYA, his mentorship and support of emerging leaders has helped ensure the PC Party stays strong.

Louise Clarke, PC member, Calgary-Varsity:
I support Jim McCormick because over the years that I have known him through our constituency association and his work with the Party as a regional director and vice president, he has proven his dedication and integrity time and time again.  His roles in our constituency have included many years on our executive, including President, organization of fund raising events, support to several election campaigns, advisor for countless decisions and an excellent resource for information.  He has shown his ability to provide fair, conscientious, and timely analysis in problem solving and has supported the Party consistently for many years. I believe his professional expertise and enthusiasm will guide him well as president of the Alberta PC Association.

Susan Elliott, provincial campaign manager:
Jim is one of those people who is the heart and soul of the party. He is always there, always helping. But he also has a strong sense of where we need to go - in particular, preparing for elections 4 years in advance, not 6 months. We can no longer take election victories for granted, and Jim gets it!

Murray Smith, former Alberta Energy Minister & Former MLA for Calgary-Varsity:
I am supporting Jim for President and would urge delegates attending to vote for Jim as well. He was a great contributor to election victories in Calgary Varsity during my 3 terms as an MLA. He is a great listener and says what he will do and then does what he says. He gives freely the greatest gift a volunteer can give, the gift of time. JIM will continue to work hard to continue strengthening this party of ours. I urge you to vote for JIM. I am.

Jennifer Diakiw, past PC candidate & long time PCAA member:
I’ve witnessed Jim McCormick’s dedication to our Party’s principles for over 20 years. I am certain Jim will do an excellent job of representing all members of our party and provide the leadership needed to energize the organization!

Margaret Kelly, PC member, Calgary-Currie:
I have many reasons for supporting Jim, but the main reason is that his judgment on issues of importance to the Party has always been sound.  He has always demonstrated very high integrity, thorough knowledge of issues and Party operations, great competence and great respect for people.  He has also shown great commitment to the Party both in time and effort and a constant willingness to step in whenever assistance is needed.  I have observed these qualities in Jim over many years while I have been a volunteer of the Calgary Varsity Constituency Association.

Natalie Sigalet, Campaign Manager Edmonton Rutherford, PC Member Edmonton-Whitemud:
I met Jim while attending the University of Calgary when he was serving as President of the Calgary-Varsity PC Association. His encouragement of a younger generation of party members led to my further commitment to the party. Since then, he has become a mentor and someone I call on for advice. I’ve seen the commitment that he has to the Party and the work he does at the constituency level to ensure our party remains strong. Jim is willing to help out wherever needed, this, along with his dedication to the party will help Jim be a fantastic President.

Mat Steppan, PC member, Strathcona-Sherwood Park:
I've known Jim for eight years. He has a keen awareness of the needs and challenges of constituency associations. A President with an intimate awareness of the needs of the grass roots organizers is exactly what the Party needs. His professional experience has taken him to every corner of the province. That, combined with his volunteer political experience makes the perfect fit for the Party. There will always be calls for change, but Jim knows how to reach out to the grass roots supporters of the PC Party to understand what they want. I've seen him work with PC members to organize everything from major fundraisers to local membership drives. He will roll up his sleeves and work for PC members.

Jamie Lall, PC candidate, Calgary-Buffalo:
I had the pleasure of meeting Jim for the first time about a year and a half ago. I remember being very nervous as this was an individual who had built such a strong reputation for himself not only in political circles but in the oil and gas industry as well. Jim agreed to meet me for a coffee and upon that first handshake almost immediately those nerves that I felt were calmed. We ended up spending quite some time talking over that coffee and ironically very little of it was about politics. What I took away from that initial meeting was Jim’s innate ability to listen and to guide. Instead of offering words of advice to being a better candidate he offered words of advice to being a better man and a better person. With every question I asked he drew from his own personal experiences, his successes and his failures. He stressed the importance of the renewal of our party, the importance of our grassroots and finally, the importance of the next generation of PC members. Jim is able to bridge that generational gap better than anyone else I know. He understands the importance of the future without doing so at the expense of the past. It is an honour and a privilege to call Jim McCormick a friend and to support him as the next President of the Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta.

Kevin Taylor PC Board Member, Calgary-Mountain View:

Over the years, Jim has been a consistent and loyal PC Party supporter and volunteer. He is a doer, a listener and a relationship builder.  I am confident these attributes will ensure all corners of the Province will be well-represented by Jim.  Whether as President of his PC Association or Co-Chair of an AGM, Jim's approach is to engage and empower the people around him.  Jim has the right vision for the future of our Party and he gets that it can only be realized if we work together.

Kelli Taylor, PC member, Calgary-North West:
Jim is a superior leader, and has my full support.  A loyal, highly respected and dedicated volunteer, he is always willing to lend a hand and to provide encouragement to those around him. Qualities such as determination, commitment, integrity, and patience are just a few of his attributes.
